I am not sure what works about the proportions of this skirt but it just works so well. It is not too short but not too long and awkward. the front slit provides just enough interest and makes it comfortable for walking etc. The wash is a perfect year round color. But, there is something just different and better about this skirt. The zipper doesn't pooch on my belly and make me self conscious the way most denim skirts do. After trying and returning many other options, this was a clear winner.
