These jeans are just what I was looking for: a pant between very dressy and very casual. Black jeans can have kind of a grunge look but these most definitely do not! The velvet fabric plus the gold belt trim really up their game. If you don’t feel like having the gold trim stand out, because of the high waist it’s easy just to have a sweater or top untucked and then you have a basic black velvet pant. The length is perfect for me at 5’9” wearing a 2” heel. I bought a size 29 which fits perfectly; I go between 29 and 30 but I wanted a snug fit and the 29 fits great with the slight stretch in the fabric. (I am usually a size 8 for reference.) I plan to order some other colors as I love these pants so much!
The Stevie velvet jean is simply gorgeous. It is flattering and comfortable. This particular pair comes with a little chain-belt bling. Can't wait to wear them again!
