Just got these and while I do like them and am keeping them, they are more of a low-rise than a mid-rise on me. I have a long torso and these sit almost 2 inches below my belly button. I'm usually a 25-26 in jeans and got these in a 25, and there is definitely room to spare. I would go with your smaller size if you are in between sizes. These jeans will be good with a crop top or tank this summer--the color is a washed out, vintage light indigo. Length is pretty good, as well, if you are medium height. I'm 5'5" and these touch the floor when I'm barefoot, but are great with small heels or platform sandals.
